Lisianthus

We went Lisianthus crazy now that we have 3 High Tunnels. Trust me they are not easy to grow. But I start several of the colors you see here from seed in January. They will bloom August - October . Quite a time and space commitment for blooms just in August and early September. Get-um while you can.

Lisianthus - let the planting begin

While most won't start blooming until late July at the earliest. We're currently planning our planting of these little babies. Colors this year are; pinks, cream, white, champagne.  The tiny seed were started in January.

 A little different take on purple and white with hot pink in the bridal bouquet. Yes it shows up almost red in the photos with out a filter. This is a few years back but still a nice take on locally grown flowers in September, using asters, dahlias and lisianthus. #septemberflowers #campskyranch
